Hello!

I have recently discovered a bug on the ios platform. I tried downloading and uploading a map file (.img) in the app as I have done already on my android device. It worked fine but soon I saw this sign "???" all over the map. After a quick google research I landed on the info that the iOS variant was just made very soon and still doesn't support all fonts and graphical files the android has been supporting for years now. Is it so and if yes, is there any info you can give me whether this is gonna be fixed soon?

Map I tried using is gmappsup.img from the site bgmountains in the section offline maps. I tried both the Cyrillic and the Latin versions of the map and both did not work.

Thanks,
markovv

I tested the BGMountains maps again and I can confirm that the Cyrillic Lite version (CYR LT) works correctly in OruxMaps.

I downloaded it from the official Garmin maps section:

https://bgmountains.org/bg/maps/garmin-maps/category/9-bgmountains

From that page, I selected the option "BGMountains – Lite – Cyrillic (for direct receiver upload)" and the IMG file loaded without any issues in OruxMaps.

I have not tested the other versions, so I cannot confirm whether they work or not. I can only confirm that the Cyrillic Lite version loads properly.

Hope this helps anyone facing the same problem.

Hello!
From what I see on your screenshots you have the same problem is that not correct? I have either opened some wrong photo or the three question marks replacing the names of cities, streets, areas and others are on your map too.

Ok now I understand you completely, I have been able to verify in my Android version, you are right in the IOS version the map is not shown complete "???".
