missing distance indicator

Hello! I am currently using OruxMaps version 10.7.4 GP and am having trouble getting a distance indicator (kilometer markers) to show up on the displayed routes—or rather, I cannot seem to configure this setting.
A Google search and discussions here on the forum mention an option within the global settings: 'global settings - user interface - tracks/routes/lines/letter sizes ... - draw distance indicator'.
However, the 'draw distance indicator' option (or anything similar) is missing on my app! Note: I am using the German version.
Interestingly, distance markers do appear within the integrated BRouter, yet they are missing when viewing the same route in the main Orux app.
Can anyone please help me with this?

look for "Streckenlänge einzeichnen", in the config path you mentioned.
