Hello all.

For me, 300@12 means that the used layer is #12 and this layer is zoomed at 300%.

Regards.

Exactly

Ok, but now how can we do to have a zoom function acting like OM-GP?

Regards.

We can't do anything, well you have already done what can be done at the user level to report the error. Now the developer has taken note and will correct it for the next update. OruxMaps NG is in open tests precisely to catch this type of error.

Hello all,
OM-NG problem with "share a screen capture with the track statistic":
the map is not displayed and proceeding with the capture of data without the map you receive the message "Error with screen capture!", no problem with OM-GP in the same device.
Regards

Quote from: YvanCB on May 19, 2026, 01:20:19 PMHello,

I bought OM-NG.
I Can't find the "Automatic Zoom" feature.
How it works? Does someone can help me?

Regards.

Regarding this great feature: Can we get a side button to switch on/off ?

Thanks
Stefan

Busqué una explicación en el manual, pero realmente no pude encontrar una... Ya que eres un experto en la aplicación, agradecería una explicación rápida, solo un par de frases, si te parece bien 🙂 [/cita]

Hello, I am not an "expert" in most cases I have simply only asked before :), the number with @ is the digital zoom and the other is the zoom level (the layer), there are no experts in OruxMaps we are all eternal apprentices in my humble opinion greetings troNpo

Thanks, and for your modesty as well

Can you check the default zoom with the latest update 12.0.4?

YvanCB

Hello,
All my tests were made with the version 12.0.4 NG.

I'm sorry, I meant the 12.0.5 that is already available, in my tests it works correctly

YvanCB

Hello,
This morning I have updated OM-NG to 12.0.5-NG: zoom is working perfectly as OM-GP!
So happy.
Thank you developers!

Quote from: orux on May 14, 2026, 12:59:33 PMI've finally launched OruxMaps NG as a new app to continue development.

This way, anyone who needs to maintain access to all their files, share data with other apps, and access them easily can keep OruxMaps GP.

Bonjour,

Hello, there should be no changes in this regard, your files created in Sasplanet must also work in OruxMaps NG, the only thing that has changed is that the app will always use the following storage address:

/Android/media/com.orux.oruxmapsNG/oruxmaps/

Hello everyone,

Thanks orux, glad to see NG :).

I guess there is no way to use NG without a google account?
I have several devices without GMS but some have microg installed instead. Does any one know if NG works with microg (logged in with a google account with NG purchased of course). The "old" oruxmaps betas used to work flawlessly without GMS or with microg.
