Find highest point around me

[Polo6221]

Problem:

When exploring an area, I want to quickly identify the highest nearby point (hill, ridge, mountain peak, etc.) without manually scanning the map.

Proposed feature:

Find highest point within radius (e.g. 1–10 km) from current GPS position.

Output:
direction (bearing)
distance
elevation difference

The app already supports offline DEM data, so this could be computed locally. This would be a killer feature that I haven't seen in any other offline outdoor navigation app.

Hello, if I don't misunderstand your request, in the beta version there is a map tool that can meet your needs
Using dem files you can calculate the highest and lowest point in a given radius.

Hola.

Muchas gracias
