Theme Design for Motorcycle Adventure Bikes

Hello,

It's been a while I'm looking for a decent mapsforge theme for adventure trips specialised for On-Off adventurer bikes. The main issue I'm facing with the current themes is that are paved-roads-focused with unpaved roads being to subtle to easily navigate under the bright sun on my motorcycle.

I've seen some improvements with the latest Orux GP theme, but still the unpaved network uses colours and patterns that are just not easy to stand out when travelling with my motorcycle.

I'd be very grateful if anyone can share a specialised theme for my use case.

In any case, I'm also seeking advice on how to design my own theme. I don't need the basics, as I already know how the themes work and what needs to be put together in order to create one. The issue I'm currently trying to figure out is how to be able to modify the theme and having a kind of live-view of the changes in my computer. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

To have a quasi live-view of your changes, when developping your own mapsforge theme (one click to reload the theme after each update), IMHO the easiest is probably to use the Cruiser application : https://github.com/devemux86/cruiser
