Quote from: orux on May 25, 2025, 07:47:37 AMIt shouldn't appear.

In fact it doesn't, my mistake! It's the photo and video access permission, sorry, I installed in a rush and without eye glasses and missed the smaller text.

Fixed in beta 2

Quote from: Tronpo on May 20, 2025, 06:43:27 AMA note about the climber sections, in the voice messages when entering a section the app says "entering a climber section" it would be very interesting that if the user edits and names the sections, the app said the name of said section, example "entering the section cuesta del muerto"

Best regards

Implemented in beta2, thank you!! It is more useful than it seems not only to be able to name the climb, it is also useful to name what order it occupies on the route, for example climb 3 of 7, for the time of managing efforts.

Something happened to Strava that makes it impossible to log in for automatic track uploads. After entering my email address, the Strava login page shows a generic error, and asks to try again. Checking on my PC, the same thing happened when I tried logging in with my ad blocker enabled. It was cleared up by temporarily disabling ad blocking.

Hi @Orux in the full interface when we go to maps > add Mapsforge maps, this just takes them to the Mapsforge repository.
Ideally, it would give us the option to the three most well-known Mapsforge platforms, as you do both on the side board (unified interface) and on the other two more basic interfaces.
So that it is more visible to all levels of users.

Hello Orux,
I really like new weather forecast. Maybe you could seperate the days by a simple line or even better by the name of the weekday and the date for a better clarity.

Best regards.

Hello @Orux the weather forecast leaves us some doubts, for example when it marks Rains it says:
Rainfall: light, moderate and violent intensity
How can it be all at once?
Something similar happens with clouds:
Mostly clear, partly cloudy and overcast skies

It's a bit confusing, looking at the api documentation it seems to give us the information of different layers of the atmosphere...

Best regards!!

Hello!! Another detail about the rich text, when you use the option to add photo using the camera button the native camera always opens, it does not matter if we have selected in The configuration use "opencamera-app", this should only affect the use of the photo waypoint ?

Best regards!!

Hi Trompo, yes i mean this. I was trying to set that 'computadora de viaje' background black. Is that possible?

Hello, no it is not possible currently, maybe in the future if it is possible to configure the color as it happens with the dashboard.
Best regards.

Hello!!
With the latest versions, the graphics of the tracks are reducing their size more and more, when we place the terminal in landscape mode.
Compared to the oruxmaps version 7.4.28 I think it loses ease and comfort in the analysis.

On the other hand, now when loading several routes in the viewer you only see 2 colors primary route and
secondary routes.
Previously we had a 3 color for 3 route, now all routes that are not the main one are shown as secondary.

I know the possibility of defining the color of each route from the track properties, I simply comment on the difference with the previous behavior.
Best regards!!

I noticed today that there are changes in the weather section. It's very nice that the forecast is made at the center of the map and the new service takes in account elevation which is very useful for mountain areas but uncommon to find in weather apps. Forecast accuracy to be confirmed :-)
That said I think the interface could be improved a bit showing daily forecast and move to hourly when the user taps on a specific day. This would allow to see the next days at a glance and then have the detailed view if needed. As an alternative I'd place at least a separator between days; for example use the date as header and then just the hours without repeating the day 24 times which is hard to read especially because the day is placed after the hour.

Hello Orux,
The new beta 11.0.2Beta2 does not work on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
I upgraded today my Samsung from the old 11.0.0Beta10. Apparently the upgrade went smooth, but then at the first test, I am having at least these 2 blocking problems:
1) Barometric altimeter cannot be calibrated
2) GPS position is not achieved
Therefore, as-is, the application is totaly unusable.

Kindly be aware that in May the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G received a major OS upgrade, moving to Android 15 and One UI 7.0.

All the best, Andrea
