{track} waypoint name pattern tag not working version 10.7.4 GP Android

I am using Oruxmaps 10.7.4 which I think is the current version, on a Samsung Galaxy S24 with all updates installed.

I have the following Settings > tracks/routes: Enter track information When a new track is created checked, and this works.

With Settings > Waypoints: Use a pattern for names checked, the following Waypoint name pattern works: {date}{sec_id}

However, in any Waypoint name pattern containing the tag {track}, that tag is ignored.

So it seems that setting a Waypoint name pattern works in general, except that the {track} tag (at least) doesn't work. I haven't tested all of the tags except that for {date}, {id}, and {sec_id} which I have confirmed are working.
