WayMarkedTrails routes downloading

I'm a new user and there's a ton to learn and understand so please be patient if there's something I've missed. When loading routes, there is "Search in WayMarkedTrails". When I select this, I am able to search for a list a collection of routes. According to the help menu, I'm supposed to hit the "three dots" menu and select Download. And once that is done, I'm supposed to select the "three dots" or just tap on the route itself in order to give options to display the route. When I select the option to download it completes after a few moments, but I only ever see the "Download" option again. Also, when I use "Load from your tracks/routes database" I get an empty list. Additionally, when I manually import a track file "gpx" it will display the route, but again, when I go back to "Load waypoints from your database" it shows an empty list again. I have tried switching to internal storage and I get the same result. This appears to be a bug, but maybe there is something I don't understand. Thank you!

Hello, regarding waymarketrails, indeed there seems to be an error, after downloading it should offer other options in the menu, such as seeing on the map, adding to the list of routes etc. Regarding the list of database routes: when you load a path in the viewer from android or from a messaging app, it is not saved directly in the database, you have to click on the waypoint should offer other start, there you have a floppy disk icon, when you press it will give the option to save in the database. Another way is directly from the database menu at the bottom left the three stripes, import files, this opens the file manager and you can browse the Android folders to where you have the gpx kml routes etc.

Thank you. The "Export to a file" option certainly doesn't give the impression that it is used for saving to the (internal) database. In fact, it's the exact opposite! I see that once the route is in the internal database, the "Export to a file" option does export to a file.

I've checked the WayMarkedTrails website and it appears to be working normally and maps can be downloaded, though perhaps it's been updated recently in a way that OruxMaps can't use. I suppose I can use it from the website outside of the app, though.
