Hi,

I think I found a reproducible issue with custom HTTP headers in the native WMTS source editor in OruxMaps NG 12.0.5.

The WMTS service I am using requires an additional Referer HTTP header.

During the WMTS creation wizard:
  • GetCapabilities works correctly.
  • The Test button successfully downloads the tiles.
  • After saving the source, the map tiles fail with HTTP 401.

I captured the HTTPS requests and found that the custom Referer header is present during GetCapabilities and when using the Test button, but it is missing from the normal GetTile requests after the source has been saved.
The API key and all the WMTS parameters are still correctly present in the GetTile URL; only the custom HTTP header is missing.

So it seems that custom HTTP headers are correctly applied by the WMTS wizard/Test code path, but are not applied by the normal map tile renderer after saving the source.

Could you please have a look at this?

Thank you very much for your work on OruxMaps and on the new NG version.

Best regards
