hello. Thanks for the suggestion/workaround. Version OM 12.1.0 now correctly displays the icons in elevate.zip.

SVG images in
OruxmapsNG 12.0.7: Setting/App storage/Mapsforge themes/...media/com.orux.oruxmapsNG/oruxmaps/mapstyles...
(images SVG in .../mapstyles/OpenAndro/ele-res)
do not display, regardless of the zoom level in
OruxmapsNG 12.0.7: Setting/Maps/Mapsforge settings/Symbols scale factor.
Everything is fine in Oruxmaps GP 10.7.4.
