Has anyone been able to get OruxMaps to work with the RuuviTag Pro sensor (4-in-1)? In my case, it connects but can't display the transmitted data. What a shame! It would be really interesting to see how this super bluetooth sensor behaves during hikes. Will we ever see it?

Is it possible to write an app to install on Garmin GPS watches so that I can use OruxMaps on my phone with the data coming from the Garmin watch?

Hi, I saw that many smartphones offer good multi-band GPS but they are without barometer. If I take an external sensor like this could I use it with OruxMaps? It offers a temperature, humidity and pressure/barometer sensor.
Do you have experiences with other sensors that you can recommend?

Hi, today with the smartphone in the pocket the recording has stopped, probably the fabric of the pants has turned the screen on and has pressed the stop button. Is it possible using the proximity sensor to keep the screen off without installing other apps?

Hi, I can't find a way to set up an activity so Garminh Connect and Strava recognize them as walking and trekking. Each time I have to go to both platforms and change everything by hand. Is there any way to solve?

Now there is also an evolution of the sensor, the Bosch BMP390, which promises exceptional performance. It would be very interesting to find hardware and support in OruxMaps.

I wish Oruxmaps could record video + GPS coordinates like action cams / dash cams. Maybe it's not too complicated for Orux given the excellent starting point to work on...

I use a set of maps of my region in my activities. When I turn on the GPS, the app selects the right map and everything is fine. The problem arises when the track runs between the edges of two maps and it becomes difficult to have a complete view of the area with only one map loaded. Is there a solution to have two adjacent maps loaded at the same time?

It seems to me that the price of this app is really low for the features and support offered by Orux. Then, if a few euros avoids me wasting time in manual updates ... Thank you Orux

GlobalMapper claims that the native extension .sqlitedb can be changed in .rmap without problems. Let me know if you need something more

Sorry if the question is trivial, but I can't find the way to disable the automatic recording pause when I'm not walking (I need it for particular purposes, in reality it's very good). It's possible to do it?
