i don't know specifically Ecuador, but why not try and use the map from https://www.openandromaps.org/en ?
Looking at https://www.openandromaps.org/en/downloads/south-and-middle-america i see "Peru_ecuador"
In many other countries i was always happy with OpenAndroMaps and Elevate in OruxMaps.
