Once upon a time there was support for OpenSeamap with OruxMaps.
As the fees for Garmin/Navionics Boating have exploded and Aquamaps is unusable in inland waterways, the use of openseamap offline maps with OruxMaps would be a real alternative.
But anyway, thanks for your great work.

Hello, openseamap is already integrated into OruxMaps, you can see it in the default online maps file, in the world folder.
I think you can also download for offline.

Unfortunately, the online version of openseamaps doesn't work in Orux. I think there is a problem with the overlay rendering of openstreetmap data. So I downloaded the Locus offline version of openseamaps in mbtile format, but this version doesn't contain data for inland waters. Which means I'm out of luck for now.
Anyway, thanks for your hint.
I don't know which kind of issue you may have with OpenSeaMap, that works very fine in "free" version of OM 7.4.28, but if in new versions of OM, definition of OpenSeaMap is wrong in OOTB version of onlinemapsource.xml, you just have either to modify it, or better to add a custom onlinemapsource.xml with this content :
<onlinemapsource uid="2070004">

https://tiles.openseamap.org/seamark/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}.png

<servers></servers>
<maxzoom>18</maxzoom>
<minzoom>9</minzoom>
<projection>MERCATORESFERICA</projection>
<downloadable>1</downloadable>
<cacheable>0</cacheable>
<xop></xop>
<yop></yop>
<zop></zop>
<qop></qop>
</onlinemapsource>
in which the value of uid= parameter has to be distinct from all other uid in both standard and custom files onlinemapsource.xml
Personnally I have both definitions (the "native" one in std onlinemapsource.xml, and the one above in custom file), just in order to have the second available in a "folder" named "(OVLMER)" rather than in the "WORLD" folder.
And both work fine.
And if your prefer to have these maps "offline", you can generate them with MOBAC, with the attached file as "mapsource" file.

You can also download with oruxmaps, right?

Yes, of course, you can, even if personnally I prefer to use Mobac, and to be able to generate the map at the MBTiles SQlite format, that is more efficient (even in OM) than the "native" OruxMaps format (it's not me that say that, but Jose Orux himself ! And I confirm it's true)

Oruxmaps GP can also create mbtiles, and you can use it in other apps if needed.

OK, I didn't know. Good news !
