Title: Great App
Post by: bwegner on May 13, 2016, 01:16:53 AM
This has been very helpful in navigating difficult terrain.

I do have a suggestion/addition idea. Can LiDAR Hillshades be added to the list of maps?

I tried adding a specific one for the state of Indiana with no luck.

//http://www.indianamap.org

Specifically:

//http://maps.indiana.edu/arcgis/rest/services/Reference/LiDAR_Color_Hillshade/MapServer  AND

//http://maps.indiana.edu/arcgis/rest/services/Reference/LiDAR_Color_Hillshade/MapServer/kml/mapImage.kmz

The KML version references a website but I was not able to figure out how to add it as a WMS.

//http://maps.indiana.edu/arcgis/rest/directories/arcgisoutput/Reference/LiDAR_Color_Hillshade_MapServer/_ags_map1c4ecfb84a314e26b6de3b10e1d8f563.png

When loading a KML overlay the Hillshades will not display in Orux so I figured the better way would be to ask if it could be added to the next update under:

Switch Maps

     (US)

        (IN)

           Indiana LiDAR Hillshades

Many thanks for the time and effort put into this app!

For me it looks not as an wms map.

I think you should play with the onlinemapsource.xml

An entry like:

<onlinemapsource uid="1111">

http://maps.indiana.edu/arcgis/rest/services/Reference/LiDAR_Color_Hillshade/MapServer/tile/{$z}/{$y}/{$x}

<website>Indiana Maps</website>

<minzoom>0</minzoom>

<maxzoom>18</maxzoom>

<projection>MERCATORESFERICAx512</projection>

<servers></servers>

<httpparam name="User-Agent">Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0</httpparam>

<httpparam name="Referer">http://maps.indiana.edu/arcgis/rest/services/Reference/LiDAR_Color_Hillshade/MapServer?f=jsapi</httpparam>

<xop></xop>

<yop></yop>

<zop></zop>

<qop></qop>

</onlinemapsource>

Currently it is not working, maybe you can find the bug.
