Hello,



Version 6.0.4 released, these beta version are deprecated!!!





Starting a new beta version.







:rc4

->changes in translations



:rc3

->bug correction (multitracking and gpx exported files).



:beta4

->changes in mapsforge libraries (to correct a bug with android 2.2 devices)



:beta3

->bug corrections





:beta2

->bug corrections

->catched maps.google.com/maps?q=x.xxx,y.yyy urls



What's new:



-->New ANT+ libraries, please, test with care!

Now the sensors must be configured previously in configuration--sensors--ANT+ Use automatic search or introduce the ID by hand.

Added battery status controls for dashboard (useful if the sensor supports that info).

Added support to Bike power sensors (I need beta testers, because I don't have such devices!!)--> Please PM me!



-->New Dashboard controls:

Device battery level

Time

Segment/total track controls (for distance, average speed, máximum speed, time recording,...)



-->New units for bearings (Mils)



-->Change the dashboard controls prioprity to stack them in different orden in the map viewer (settings--user interface--dashboard)

Excelente las nuevas opciones orux, no se puede pedir mas. Unos apuntes sobre la ordenacion del cuadro de mandos, creo que le he cogido el truco, y parece que obliga a que los totales sean contiguos a los parciales, al principio, los colocaba y se me volvian a descolocar solos, creo que es ese el motivo, confirmalo por favor. Otra cosa que he observado es que cuando pones el cuadro de mandos en pequeño para conseguir tener tres cajas por linea, el programa externo para ampliar fuentes no opera sobre estas cajas, en cambio con los controles en tamaño grandes, si, curioso, no se si puedes hacer algo al respecto. Gracias orux por el esfuerzo.

sí, tengo que cambiar algunas cosillas.



en teoría todos los controles se pueden reordenar; ¿no se te recoloca alguno en contreto, si le cambias de sitio?



no sé cómo actúa el programa que agranda las fuentes, pero los controles grande y pequeño son idénticos en cuanto a estructura y tipo de vistas.

Por ejemplo Velocidad media y Total Velocidad media (Por cierto velocidad media tiene una errata) no parece que permita que Total Velocidad Media quede por delante de Velocidad media, reordenándose el solo de nuevo.



Con respecto al tema de las fuentes, el programa externo no hace otra cosa que modificar el tamaño las fuentes del sistema de una manera mas cómoda. Y funciona en todo el programa salvo en los cuadros pequeños. Te pongo una imagen para que veas.

Hola! Hace mucho tiempo que no aparecía por aquí, pero la verdad es que todo ha estado funcionando a las mil maravillas hasta hoy que he instalado la nueva beta y ya tenemos problemas :D . El caso es que he instalado la nueva beta en mi xperia x10mini pro con Rom CM7 2.3.6 y cuando activo el ANT+ la aplicación rompe, suena un pitido y se cierra. El sensor, que en las versiones anteriores funcionaba perfectamente, primero he tenido que introducir su ID para que en el menú me permitiera activar el ANT+ y cuando lo activo, selecciono pulsómetro y activo, entonces la aplicación rompe. Te dejo registro de fallos en los siguientes enlaces.

Para eso están las betas, para que casquen :)



Las librerías ANT+ son nuevas, en tu caso creo que se rompe porque busca unas cosas de ANT que no encuentra, y que debería llevarte al market para su descarga.

Device Battery level and local time is great,

But my Bluetooth speed and cadence sensor stop working.

With the official version 6 it is ok.

I see(new) the battery status of the sensor but not speed and cadence.

Both showing ---



Idea?

Sin darte tiempo a una nueva beta, he corrido a ver lo que hay nuevo en el Market de ANT+ y efectivamente veo que hay unos plugins, que seguidamente he procedido a instalar, eso si, sin saber cual es el necesario :roll: . He actualizado nuevamente Orux a la última beta y veo que ya no rompe al activar el ANT+ (aunque como no tengo el pulsómetro aquí conmigo no se si conectara, supongo que si). Luego lo pruebo y en cuanto haya una nueva Beta pruebo a desínstalar los plugins y ver que sucede.

creo que lo he corregido en la beta2; si no tienes instaladas las librerías te debería llevar a ellas.



también debe corregir el problema con los sensores BT 4.0 de cadencia velocidad



y el que se puedan ordenar todos los controles del cuadro de datos.

Wouldn´t it be better to show only the activated items in the sort view? The full set of the controls is really confusing!



Keep coding, Orux is the best (in my case for cycling).

Desafortunadamente he descargado la nueva beta, desisntalado los plugins y el bug persiste. Instalando por mi parte el ANT+ plugins services a mano, Orux en principio conecta bien con el pulsómetro. Te dejo un nuevo enlace con el reporte de esta segunda beta. Quizás tenga que ver algo eso de que yo tenga una customrom CM7.

6.0.3beta2 When I try to start ant+ bike cadence the system tells me I should set an ID,  although the value is set already to 9814.

Another try shows that only cadence doesn't work. My other Ant+ sensors like heartbeat and temperature are ok.

For cadence I use Garmin without magnet.

hola, he probado a gestionar varios perfiles y me he llevado una sorpresilla desagradable, cuando vas a seleccionar un perfil, te pregunta si quieres seleccionarlo o borrarlo, y si por culpa de los dedos "morcilla", le das a borrar, te lo borra inmediatamente sin repreguntar si estas seguro.



pd: no se como traducira google "morcilla", sorry.

You'll probably be seeing the 'about' of the google play downloaded version.



The beta version is a different app, with a different icon, with a v.6.0.2beta3 'about' title.

Today I did 3 hours biking, thanks to Oruxmaps beta 2 I found back home:P

Cadence and speed Sensor was working again:D

But recognized that battery level of hrm and cad sensor was always 100%

Stop and start sensor does not change.

At home I quit Orux and start it again now the battery level was != 100% as expected.



It's this a bug?

Sorry, but problems with cadence again.

Obviously cadence isn't transfered to mapmytracks properly. I'm not sure at what beta version it started. On my next bike ride I will give it a try with 6.0.2

With the regular version 6.0.1 cadence is transfered to mapmytracks ok. But even with beta version 4 it is not.

i see the cadence data with "trainingstagebuch.org" and with mytourbook.



Orux added Speed tags aditionaly to the cad tag:

i see the cadence data with "trainingstagebuch.org" and with mytourbook.



Orux added Speed tags aditionaly to the cad tag:

Hi, I briefly tried to use an ant+ power sensor, it worked without issues. I couldn't try to use the sensor settings (the sensor/bike wasn't mine), maybe next time.



As for the power data field, in addition to the instantaneous power it would be good to have a 3s 5s 10s and 30 seconds averaged power fields (usually a rolling average updated every second) as garmin does.

These average are needed because power data is extremely jumpy and usually cyclists choose to show the 3/5s and the 30s fields at the same time to have a decent understanding of fast and slow power trend. Usually the instantaneous power is used just for troubleshooting.

Hi, the one I tried is a power2max, but it was just for a few minutes. The owner says it works great.

Speaking in general it's an extremely broad subject, different needs lead to very different advice..

I think I'll hide the possibility of adjusting the sensor from OruxMaps; I think all these devices have some own tools to do so,

Hi, I think most powermeters don't have a dedicated tool, usually they are configured from a garmin headunit.

Hi Orux,

I Think there is a small bug with the battery status of my hrm sensor.



When I start OM you're app displays e.g. 77% and this did not change.

Hours later i quit OM and Check the batt status with "hrm ble" app. it shows eg 50%

Now I start OM and again and still 77%

Stop/start hrm does not help.

Now I switch off/on my sensor. now om displays also 50% but did not change...



But not a big problem,

Rc1 and multitracking:

for me multitracking doesn't work properly anymore.

My friends can see me but I can't see them.

A try with version 6.0.1 showed all ok.

Am I the only one with that problem?

Hi orux, maybe I found a problem and bug:

-if cadence=0 it's not written in the gpx, while in the 6.0 version there was an explicit cadence=0 in the gpx. Is it intentional? both sporttracks and golden cheetah don't like this behaviour.

-when cadence=0 and speed>0 (coasting downhill), speed is not written in the gpx, also if at that time the correct ant+ speed was displayed on the phone.

In the RC4:



The units Hours, Minutes and Seconds are still in English when TTS reports the ETA time.

My location setting is zh-CN and all the other sentences include units KM/Hour already in Chinese when the TTS reports the distance and speed.
