Title: Customize Onlinemapsources.xml
Post by: vincecarter729 on February 11, 2019, 11:27:07 AM
<t>Hi,

Does someone know how to customize the onliemapsources.xml? Do you have an exemple with several layers?
I would like to create a mutli-layer map with wms or wmts.

Second question:
When we create new wms maps directly on the app, where can we find the modified xml? Is there a hidden file?

Regards,

Vincent</t>

Hello!

Maps with 512px tile size must use:
<projection>MERCATORESFERICAx512</projection>
like : OSM OpenRailWay - Infrastructure (OVERLAYINFOSTRUCT)

Este es un pequeño archivo que he recopilado de diferentes fuentes: AnyGIS, OSM y web de cada proveedor. Espero sea útil para quien quiera usarlo. Todos los enlaces funcionan.

Hello to all...

I was changing onlinemapsources... and after few different changing I can not back to default onlinemapsource.
Just to say... I know the procedure. I changed the the .xml files from oruxmaps/mapsfiles folder. I did it several time to get back to default onlinemapsource. I also did few reinstallation of Oruxmaps apk. I clear mapfiles folder from old cashed files and clear the previous onlinemapsource but after new clean installation I have all online maps from earlier versions.
Is there any solution for this problem ?

Is it possible to change the date of the layer that an online map is accessed?
As for example in the case of google earth where, when using google earth, you can change the date that the sat photos were taken?
Can we add several instances of the same map in onlinmapsources.xml pointing to different dates?

Hello,

Do you know if it's possible to customize the onlinemapsource.xml, to obtain hiking-maps from Greece on line ? The same maps as here : https://www.topoguide.gr/index-en.php
I am not geek enough to do this...
With Mobac, i have found in the cloud a file « Grece.bsh », 8) it's ok for outline maps http://randochartreuse.free.fr/mobac2.x/mapsources/Grece/Grece.bsh
I'd like the same for Online maps.
Thank you very much to the community! :)

The following URL is derived from the Mobac file.

<onlinemapsource uid="101">

Bonjour,

Hello @all from France.
Merci.
I've been using OruxMaps (the paid version) on an Android for a long time, and it's really good. My question is this : is there a way to make the "onlinemapsources.xml" file work on an iphone (iOS) with of course the adapted version so OruxMaps for iOS ? The directories are not the same and a priori if you put it in the folder called maps on iOS, it does not work ? If anyone has a solution I'm interested. THANKS.

Hello @Phil74,

I don't know if you are still interested in the Austrian map you were asking for 6 months ago (I just saw your post today), but in case, you can find hereafter the required code. I added also another server that serves the same data, but with 512x512 tiles.

<onlinemapsource uid="110001">

https://maps.bev.gv.at/tiles/karte/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}.png

BTW, if you want generate the same as offline maps, using MOBAC, herafter the two corresponding .bsh
source files

name = "Austrian map";
tileType = "png";
minZoom = 6;
maxZoom = 16;

String getTileUrl( int Zoom, int X, int Y ) {
   return "https://maps.bev.gv.at/tiles/karte/" + Zoom + "/" + X + "/" + Y + ".png";
}

name = "Autriche 50k (Bergfex)";

tileType = "jpg";
minZoom = 6;
maxZoom = 15;
String getTileUrl( int Zoom, int X, int Y ) {

   return "https://tiles.bergfex.at/data/oek50-512/" + Zoom + "/" + X + "/" + Y + ".jpeg";
}

Personnally, I can't see the interest of these maps (that actually are not specific to Austria but cover the full world) that are not really better than OSM Mapnik....
But if you want to use them, it's up to you !

These maps can be get either with tiles 256x256 or 512x512

<onlinemapsource uid="110003">

https://tiles.bergfex.at/styles/bergfex-osm/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}@2x.jpeg

<maxthreads>0</maxthreads>
<xop></xop>
<yop></yop>
<zop></zop>
<qop></qop>

</onlinemapsource>

<onlinemapsource uid="110004">

https://tiles.bergfex.at/styles/bergfex-osm/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}.jpeg

<xop></xop>
<yop></yop>

and the equivalent sources for Mobac

name = "Autriche Bergfex-OSM 256";

tileType = "jpg";
minZoom = 0;
maxZoom = 22;
String getTileUrl( int Zoom, int X, int Y ) {

   return "https://tiles.bergfex.at/styles/bergfex-osm/" + Zoom + "/" + X + "/" + Y + ".jpeg";

Add the code below to your onlinemapsources.xml in OM's mapfiles folder.
You can change the name and also the uid (but the uid must be unique).

<onlinemapsource uid="10009001">

https://tiles-eu1.arcgis.com/40tFGWzosjaLJpmn/arcgis/rest/services/OFX_45_v2/MapServer/tile/{$z}/{$y}/{$x}

    <legend></legend>
    <minzoom>1</minzoom>
    <maxzoom>18</maxzoom>
    <projection>MERCATORESFERICA</projection>
    <servers></servers>
    <httpparam name="User-Agent">{om}</httpparam>
    <httpparam name="Referer"></httpparam>
    <cacheable>0</cacheable>
    <downloadable>0</downloadable>
    <maxtilesday>0</maxtilesday>

I am trying to add GetLost Online Maps to Oruxmaps via a customised onlinemapsources.xml. On the Get lost web site at: https://www.getlost.com.au/downloads/the-map-table/ they specify:

"The details you'll need inside the settings of some apps, where you add and configure a new map provider, are:
URL: https://live.getlost.com.au/{z}/{x}/{y}.jpg
Zoom levels: 2-18"

I have customised my onlinemapsources.xml with the additional lines:

    <onlinemapsource uid="4">

https://live.getlost.com.au/{$z}/{$x}/{$y}.jpg

        <minzoom>2</minzoom>
        <maxzoom>18</maxzoom>
        <projection>MERCATORESFERICA</projection>
        <httpparam name=""></httpparam>
        <cacheable>1</cacheable>
        <downloadable>1</downloadable>
        <maxtilesday>0</maxtilesday>
        <maxthreads>0</maxthreads>
        <xop></xop>
        <yop></yop>
        <zop></zop>
        <qop></qop>
        <sop></sop>
    </onlinemapsource>

When in Oruxmaps I switch maps and select Online > Layers no entry for Get Lost Maps appears. I get no error messages. So a bit stuck as to how to debug this problem. I can access this online source without problems using other applications such as QGIS.

Regarding my previous post - SOLVED!
The uid was not unique! I had used a uid=4 as it was my fourth entry in my custom onlinemapsources.xml file. However, the standard onlinemapsources.xml file has a uid=4 used by OpenStreetmap Mapnik. When I changed the uid to a unique number, in this case uid=5, this new online mapsource now works with no problems.
